Southern Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists

Census Campaign

Help our profession! Be Counted! Click HERE to be a part of the ASET census.
ALL Techs, students, and trainees should participate. Thank you!
After our 50th Annual Meeting and Seminar we decided to work together with ASET to help with the Grassroots Census. Two of our Board Members Raymond Satchell and Bobby Taskey attended the Grassroots Roundtable Meeting for the State and Regional Societies at the ASET Annual 2010 Conference in Kentucky.
The feedback:
WE ARE ALL AT RISK OF LOSING OUR JOBS IF WE DON'T BECOME PROACTIVE AND PROTECT OUR PROFESSION!
This has already happened in Wyoming. You must be a respiratory therapist is Wyoming to legally perform EEG's.
How can we prevent this from happening in our state(s)?
----1st and foremost, we must obtain a census of ALL the neurodiagnostic technologists in "our" region. It does not matter if you are an ECG tech and perform EEG's, or a respiratory therapist, we need a TOTAL count of ALL techs performing neurodiagnostic procedures. Once we obtain this, we will submit it to ASET.

Here is a list of the states SSET represents, we need everyone's help! Please contact mmondul@yahoo.com and let me know if you are interested in helping and I will pair you with the Board who is representing that state. We need everyone's help. Help us take a Census to develop name, city and state, and e-mail contact information for EVERY person in your state who does any kind of neurodiagnostic testing. Even if you don't live in a particular state, you can help, it's a wonderful way to network as well.
States:
Southern PA, MD, District of Columbia, Arkansas, NC, SC, VA, W.VA, KY, LA, MS, AL, FL, TN, Texas, and Oklahoma.

We have our work cut out for us, but I know WE can do it together.

Thank you ALL very much.
